Hello,
I didn't buy anything yet, but I would like to desolder the emitter (CREE XR-E Q5) of an ultrafire UF-H3 (or H2 or H1 (kaidomain.com)) to replace it with a red LED (for tail's bike). UF-H3 prefered because it runs with 18650.
I need to know:
If those ultrafire are easy to de-assemble ?
Which red LED will replace the original one with the minimum of work/modification ?
I saw this:
http://www.ledssuperbright.com/3w-led-c-11/3w-ultra-bright-red-led-p-65
Will it fit the driver's specification ?
I'm very new to this but I really would like to use my solder-iron once in a year.
It is just an idea, I like this clone and I need a tail light for my bike, but if it's not possible don't laugh too loud.
Many thanks in advance for any help.
