Hi, I recently found a few old flashlights at a fleamarket, one I can't identify. Was hoping you guy's might help me in my search. It has only a few markings in cursive which say "Made In U.S.A". It had a pair of old ray-o-vac 2-D's in there, so that was the first brand I went looking for at the flashlight museum website. I found similar ribbing and switches, but most had ray-o-vac stamped into the metal. I've been through a lot of brands but no matches. Thanks a million for any help or suggestions. http://www.flashlightmuseum.com/flashlights_list.cfm?method=browse&brand=Rayovac I really like this light and antiques in general. The batteries had oxidized a lot of the inside, including destroying the reflector and spring. I installed a new maglite reflector which was almost a perfect fit. Just needed some shaving, but it's also plastic and won't make the circuit when the switches lead touches it. I have some copper tape I might try. And the original plastic lenses could use a buff, somehow DIY??? .
