I seem to be very particular about watches. I have a few basic criteria, but it seems kind of hard to meet them all.

1. Chronograph
2. Tritium markers
3. Rubber wrist strap
4. Date
5. Sapphire lens
6. Hands must line up exactly with the tick marks (it's a pet peeve of mine if they don't)
Any one know of any good watches that meet the criteria?

Thanks!

If You understand "chronograph" as mechanical watch, then I have no real idea,
if chronograph means simply "stop watch", then f.e.:

Chase Durer, Blackhawk mach 3,
Sector, Expander,
check the Nixon watches, they feature rubber bands often,

nite Produce good watches with tritinam in a chronograph

The watches are tough and good quality :grin2:

why not give them a look at www.nite .co.uk english company

Ball watches has everything and more of what you just ask for, but I don't know your budget...they are very expensive. Luminox has everything you want for a better price though.

You can try Traser Big Date Chronographs.

i have had both luminox and traser before, and i think traser did a better job of lining up the second hand with the marker (continuous running second hand that is. the chrono second should always line up with the markers)

but they only comes with bracelet model. they have traditional lugs, so you can easily find a replacement rubber strap. and you will have bracelet for those days ... ;-)
