Help me understand LED Specs

I've been looking at some SSC P7 LEDs to do a mag mod but I don't understand all the specs. I've read in some places suggestions on Bins for a DD circuit but the differences in the bins is beyond me. I looked at three different bins and all the specs looked the same as far as 3.5 Vf and 2800mA. I searched teh forum for LED help and couldn't find what i'm looking for. I want to make sure i'm putting the newest latest and greatest for the build I think I want. I think I want to DD a P7 in mag as a start and then a few weeks later add driver board and regulate it.

Do a search in the Homemade and Modified forum. Tons of M@G mods w/ lots of info regarding emitters, drivers, batteries etc. etc.

Okay thanks I will deff. Give that a try. I just saw on britelumens a mag 3D heatsink and zpower p7 emitter for $43. Is this pretty much the going rate? Another question is the heatsink is black and I was curious if I should get a bare one I figured it would transfer heat better.
