HELP MM+ lux3 vs MM+R2H

I'm no expert, but here's my opinion...
I think the Lux III will be whiter for sure, but I don't know how much brighter it will be. Probably not a dramatic difference though. I have no idea what % brighter. The Lux III will be more robust though, as it's spec'd for higher current.

The older bin coding was more sporadic so it makes it hard to do this comparison. You could have an exception R2H or just a mediocre R2H.
The Lux3s on the other hand appear to be in a better process control and LED to LED of the same batch seem to be very consistent and comparing one type to another in the Lux3 series seem to corrolate with the actual bin code stamped.
In general, a Lux3 should be slightly brighter than a R2H. I would guess that a Lux3 S would be similar or very close to the R2H and the T would be the difference between the S and the T rank Lux3 difference.
How much is really hard to say.

Battery life the same.
Additional educated output guess:
The brightness difference would be almost negligible, but since the MMX+ is putting 650mA+ into the LED..-you're better off with the Lux3 becos of it's superior "luminance maintenance" ...-it's specs are in line with that 650mA, and the R2H (spec'd @350mA) is overdriven at the 650 input.
