Well, I am new to this and wanted to get some ideas. Does anybody want to give me some advice on what to do with a Brinkmann 2D 3W Cree when I want to put a P7 in (I'd like a long runtime and don't mind bulk).
Ideally, I'm looking for an extension tube, if you guys know where I can find one let me know, and turn it into a 3D cell @ 4.5v to run the P7. As far as regulator, I don't really know but thought of DX's sku#20329. However, the Brinkmann is the dimmable type found here http://flashlightnews.net/forum/index.php?topic=778.0
Can I just direct drive it with the built in regulator/dimmer and use the levels to adjust amerage? or Do I just bypass the built in regulator/dimmer and run with the DX board? Or do I wire both together somehow?
