Flashlight Enthusiast
Greetings all, CPF veteran here who doesn't spend a whole lot of time researching lights in the < $100 range. I spend most of my days perusing the Custom B/S/T section but I'm now on the hunt for a replacement for my brother's EagleTac T10C2 light he lost at work. Can anyone please recommend a substitute with the following specs:
- 2xCR123 power supply
- twist head for high/low
- ^ two modes only (high/low) - no strobe or SOS
- clip as far to one end of the light as possible for easy pocket carry
- tailcap clicky of course - reverse or forward doesn't matter
- 500+ OTF lumens would be nice but I'd settle for 500 emitter lumens
- BUDGET: no more than $100 (I'd consider buying used too), ideally around $75
Basically, he would like a much brighter version of his beloved T10C2 and also have the clip closer to the tailcap if possible. He loves the beam profile of the T10C2; I even offered to gift him my SF LX2 but he thought it was too throwy. Want's to stick with 2xCR123 primaries as he and I each have oodles of them, so hold off on the RCR suggestions please.
So far I know of the Jetbeam Jet-III-M but he doesn't like the tailcap. And I suggested the Olight M21 and M30 but they're out of anticipated budget.
Thanks CPF.
