While waiting on a Krytox group buy I found I could wait no more. My small amount of 50/50 from the sandwich shop was about gone. I purchased Finish Line Extreme Fluoro
pure fluorinated pfpae grease 20 gram from ebay for about 11.50 shipped. In another thread someone thought it might be a form of Krytox. My local cycle shops do not carry it. It says it is made with 100% pure Dupont fluorinated ingredients :shrug:
I have only had it a week but so far I really like it. It made my Sapphire 25 threads very smooth. It also seems to mix well with lights that have Krytox on them that I did not wipe the remainder off. It feels great on a Ti PD-S Mizer and to me seems to feel better than the blend from the shop (no stiction issues). I have put it on folding knives and about every flashlight I own. Good so far but no clue as to the viscosity rating. Heck I may even use it on my bicycle. :grin2:
It has a nice precise applicator too.
