Help. TK75 or S6330?

Hey all. I've been following the TK75 and the S6330 on this forum for a couple of months. I know the TK75 has more throw, uses 1 more battery, bigger and heavier. S6330 more flood, uses 1 less battery, smaller and lighter. But still I just don't know which one to buy! I will mostly use it for night walks, camping, around the house because I don't like turning on lights, showing off my bright lights and blinding my eyes (like we all do lol)

Is there anything I don't know about the two lights? Have the two lights been compared yet? SHOULD I even compare the two lights?

Enlighten me please :D
 
For me it comes down to what you are wanting in the light. I have the 6330 and really like it. I have owned larger more powerful lights and seem to always get rid of them, in favor of smaller more powerful lights(•lupine Wilma and Betty tl). Personally I prefer the zebralight interface as it allows for lower lows than the tk75 and lupines and it is really small for the power that comes out of it. My suggestion is the 6330.
 
Thanks Tonkem. I know the 6330 is temperature regulated. How long does it actually stay on turbo mode before it steps down to high? That was one of the things I liked about the TK75 because it had a 20 minute turbo time
 
They are both very bright lights, but very different. For night walks I would like the TK75 for it's extra throw and output.
For around the house and camping the S6330 modes (low lows as tonkem points out) and size. The TK75 will fit in my parka pocket (barely) while the S6330 would be an easy fit. Comes down to your priorities.
 
Just finished a walk with the dog out in the woods over an hour long with the s6330. I'm going to guess that with a large circumference 4x18650 light, and both heavier and lengthier to boot, the TK75 is going to put a damper on gripping that light for an extended period of time while you're moving out on the trail.

Economy of size is important.
 
Opposite ends of the spectrum but based on what you said you'd be using it for, I think the S6330 might be a better fit. The main reason to go with the TK75 is if throw is at the top of your needs list.
 
Totally different lights.
But both are coat pocket lights, too big for normal EDC use.
The TK75 has some real throw, and the 6330 doesn't.
You need to decide what you want it to do. Throw vs flood.

I mentioned in another thread that I took the s6330 with my lupine betty tls and had both on high for at least 15 mins and noticed not change in output from either light, but they are both therm regulated, so the temperature will play a role in how long the max output can be sustained. In all honesty, there are few instances in my life that I have "needed" over 2000 lumens for extended periods.
With regard to the throw, the 6330 is not a thrower when you put it against true thrower lights, but I am impressed with its capability.
 
I just received my S6330 today. First impressions - This light is SMALL. I mean, I knew it's a small light from the photos but it's totally different when you hold it in your hands. My 18650s are half charged (couldn't wait) fired it up and I was blinded for 5 seconds. I'll test out how bright it actually is at night! This light gets really hot real quick. The head is almost too hot to touch after 5 minutes. You can use it as a hand warmer in the winter for sure. O did I mention it's really small?
 
Hope you enjoy it, you are right about the size you don't realize just how small it is until you have in your hand.

I've got a few bigger lights but S6330 will get the most useage for now.
 
Have you guys noticed that the light gets REALLY REALLY hot after a while on turbo? So hot that I almost can't hold it?
 
I left it tailstanding on my desk for 6 mins yesterday and it was scorching.
