Fellas, this thing has been driving me nuts. It's the standard LOTC type and when turned on often flickers or dims, even flat goes off. A little fiddling with it and it springs back to life......temporarily. I've tried cleaning it inside which usually works for a short time. Any ideas? ......thanks.

slight corrosion on the battery contacts of either the batteries or the light its self. . The next is purely a guess but if the threads on the body or tailcap are hard anodized that will cause a problem (HA isnt conductive)

I had this problem with my E1e. I fixed mine by taking the tailcap off and sanding the body on the tailcap end to improve electrical contact. Hold the body vertical and sand down the end using medium grit emery cloth placed on a hard surface. Just a few passes to get the end bright and smooth.

Works fine now and took 30 seconds to fix. Hope this works for you.

make sure the bezel of the light is screwed on tight as well, since it isn't spring loaded like a 6P/G2 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
