Hello, I just purchased the Eagletac T20 and I'm not sure which batteries to go with. I'm a LEO so this light will be carried with me on duty. Should I go with the cr123 or 18650 or rechargeables? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

with a 18650, the runtime isnt flat, brightness varies with how used the battery is.
with 2x CR123A, the brightness is usually always the same until the power goes out.

I'd say buy according to what type of runtime you want.

For daily use go with an 18650, it won't regulate on high, but will on medium and low so it's not a terrible trade-off.

you don't mention what shift.
primarily 1st, or 2nd/3rd shift? (ie. 100% chance of regular nightly use or not)

as mdocod say's - likely to be used nightly?
go 18650, get a spare 18650 cell, and a DC car charger/adapter so you know you'll always have a topped up ready to go backup cell that can be switched out as needed.
always nicer to not worry about using turbo/high as much as you want... and risk have it run out of  juice in the middle of a foot search (I'm a big fan of overwhelming lumens)

(probably would'nt hurt to keep 2-4 pcs cr123 cells in your trunk too)
