A friend of mine has this knife that he found in his attic. I don't know much about knives, but this should be enough information for one of you to ID it.

Here's what I know:

--it's over 15 years old
--made by Ka Bar(It says Ka Bar on side of blade)
--wood handle held together with pins
--sheepsfoot blade
--Probably stainless steel(Shiny, chrome looking)
--Total length is at least 6in, probably more

It's a fixed blade, in case I didn't make that clear. If you want a pic, I might be able to get one in about a week, but I was hoping that this knife was somewhat common and easy enough to identify with a brand name and description. I remember seeing a photo of it online once, so it was probably discontinued recently.

Hi,I think that I have the same knife, but mine came in a leather sheath with a pair of pliars and it is supposed to have a marlin spike in the sheath(but mine is missing).I think it was for sailing but am not sure.Thats all I know abought it.
