I guess in grade school I learned that when gluing you need to press the parts together, so that's what I still do /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif. In this case, the added reason for doing so is that you want as thin a layer of epoxy as possible, for maximum heat conductivity.

That is a very good idea Kill-O-Zap.... get the epoxy smooth and thin! I guess the problem is the ability of holding it steady for the entire 30 secs for the epoxy to set. I make sure that there is plenty of room on the workbench to rest my arms and get my index finger steady and ready for the hold. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

as soon as you've pressed it down, the epoxy isn't going to be magnetically pulled back under the luxeon once you let go /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
