I have in my hand a Beamshot GB 8800s. It's a combination LED flashlight/green Beam laser that attaches to M1913/Picatinny rails.
The green beam laser is kind of weak. I was thinking about Upgrading the laser to something more "daylight visible" but I would like to take it apart to see what the size constrains are that I'm working with.
It seems easy enough. Just pop out the 4 screws holding the laser to the bottom of the housing. However, it seems that there are some tabs in the housing holding the two parts together. I have pushed and prodded about as much as I dare, and have not yet figured out how it 'clicks' together.
I was hoping someone here may have some more insight for me before I bugger up this $360 piece of equipment.
Thanks in advance.
RJ
