I'm getting about 50 minutes, but I'm running unprotected ones so I swap battery when the beam isn't as white as wanted.

The alternative would be a G3 with 2 17500 cells, this would be brighter and cr123s can always be popped in if the Li-ions run out...

You might also look at the Goncz lights. They are dive rated to 100 meters I think.
I have the led version..but it has a strong flood- not spot. They make a variety of incan lights too. All are easy to operate with gloves..tactical tail button, and twist end to stay on. Very strong construction. http://e-lectronics.net/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=goncz

Another recommending Tektite here. I have a handful of Tektite dive lights that are so old that they're pre-Luxeon.

I recommend them as a manufacturer to look into their newer models as the ones I own are very tight (1,000 ft), no-nonsense lights that didn't cost an arm and a leg.
