Hi guys, I would like to get a HideAway knife for on my belt.
I prefer one where the blade and grip are straight, not angled,
so the handle will not poke into my stomach. :grin2:
The first one I posted below looks to be able to do the job I think ?

Can you recommend me one ?

And which of the 3 artists do I need to choose ?
Ken, Mickey or Joe ?

HideAway Sting - S30V steel: $149

Coogler Inline: $169

Sting- Titanium HideAway: $199

How would the handle on the regular HideAway poke you in the stomach? It doesn't point up when it's on your belt.
Even if down, it would still poke my thigh/hip if I would be in a crouching or sitting position.
I wouln not want anything sticking out outside the width of my belt(s).

I've never handled one so you can take my views for what they are (but hopefully be of value still). My personal choices would be between design #1 and 3, which look similar. The pointy Wharncliffe-shaped blade is more multi-tasking as a cutter and poker, for utility or SD.

#1. S30V - superb edge retention (as proven by my EDC - a Spyderco Swick)
- corrosion resistance

#3. Ti - superior corrosion resistance (Ti is practically rust-free)
- reduced weight (Ti is way lighter than steel)
- uniquely nice anodized look

Personally though, I'd take S30V. I'd take edge-holding over the other attributes. A knife that doesn't require much sharpening is always a joy to have and I don't let it get too rusty in the first place (Love yer tools and yer tools will love ya back!)

Hope that helps. . .
