All I can say is make sure you have sufficient thermal relief so that the added power isn't wasted in phonons instead of photons! Anybody want a 1.8 amp Twin DB PM6 module with W4 emitter cheap? It might pump out the lumens in a liquid nitrogen tank. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was planning on using it in the forthcoming McLux head with reflector. Im guessing that it will be bigger/have more mass to accomodate the PM6 reflector.

In that case, I guess I better stop screwing around and get back to work! These heads are going to be machined off shore to keep the cost down but that means that the First Article will need to be evaluated via the internet. This requires I make a working prototype at my end for show and tell. I have sent off all of the components that will need to fit in the head as well as information on how they are to fit. Currently there is still room for Murphy's input and this needs to be rectified.
