High power LED light for salt-water exposure?

Can anyone vouch for metal-bodied lights frequently exposed to sea water? I know nothing about metalurgy but I've seen a lot of corroded aluminum around marinas, so I'm suspicious of aluminum lights for a PFD-pocket light when sea kayaking. (I won't even ask about diving at this point!)

The Peak stainless steel models seem worth considering, but not all "stainless" alloys can take salt, either. The price of the titanium versions is a bit beyond what I can stand...

My current pocket lights are a UK "2 watt" eLED 4AA and an old Princeton Tec incan 2AA. Adequate, but boring...

Most of the more expensive LED lights are anodized aluminum, which is already "rusted" (Type 3 anodize is Aluminum Oxide), and HA3 can be found on lights such as Surefire and Fenix, as well as Peak and Novatac.

Maybe MacTech can try placing a few aluminum lights in his rust-box?
