optical colmination is a very complicated and precise thing.
i don't think any of us possess the means to design a good optic, let alone build one /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
the most i've done is to machine an acrylic ball so that it fits in the lenscap in place of a lens.
it's innefficient, but produces a very tight beam.
