How are EV packages marked?

how do I tell a turquoise from an EV?

It should be marked "EV" on the back of the package. The marking may be in pen, marker, etc.

I received a turquoise AAA yesterday that was marked "AT-BLK", on printed labels, on both sides of the instruction card. What is the difference between this one and one marked "EV"?

If it does not have the "EV" mark on the back of the card hand written, it is the regular rank. The EV rank is slightly brighter.

You will usually see a hand-written EV circled on the back of the package. I have one, but really can not tell the difference to the naked eye.

My question would be, if you had several non-EV's and one EV mixed in a pile on the floor, how would one tell the difference?
