May be a silly and repeat question. But I would like to get some point out answer between the difference of BB and NextGen.

Lux, Runtime from 2AA cell, and effiency boost, etc.
Thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You'll get more runtime from the NexGen because it is more efficient and you'll also get less heat. The NexGen generates much less heat than the BadBoy does.

Krit,

You also can go wrong with a MM+ WO. It's a beautiful converter. It is not constant current, and the beam will dim as the batteries drain, but it's a very nice converter that will just suck a battery dry, down to about .8v.

The great thing about the MM+ WO, is that it will also work in a mini mini mag on a single AA cell. The MM+ WO is my favorite converter for the sandwiches. If you know that you won't be using it in a mini mini mag, then go for the NexGen.

I'll second what Chop wrote. Then I'll add you can put a rechargeable 14500 cell in a chopped MiniMag with a Badboy, Madmax or Nexgen and get full brightness plus more light. The Nexgen would be more efficient than the Badboy and run cooler too.

Hi Tony ,
Thanks for your suggestion. I have MM+ and still use it in Nuwai-body with LuxIII. It is very bright from 1x123a and I also use r123a with no dramage too.

About BB is a current regulation which give the light stable bright than MM+ can do. But it cann't suck battery dry like MM+. I still use it too.

Someone and you told about Nextgen which the long time running than BB500. I would like to use Nextgen with TY0K and thinking about runtime should around 90 minutes from 2x2100 mA NiMH battery.
