How do I connect my light meter (LM631A) to my multimeter?

I have the Meterman LM31A and I noticed if you detach the measurement box from the main unit, it has two metal probes at the bottom. The pacing is precisely that if the multimeter ports. I assume they want you to plug it into your multimeter. I did so and switched through all the modes and couldn't find one that seemed correct.

Can anyone help?

P.S. I have four ports total on the DMM so there's 3 adjacent pairs. I just plugged it into the far right pair, not sure if that's correct.

Your not supposed to do that, there is no function on the standard multimeter that does what the light meter does.

LOL oops. I guess a banana plug really is a banana plug. Thanks for your help fellas.

is he saying connect the light meter to multi meter to make it work as a light transducer? if the luminous flux is linear to the voltage output, then it shall work. if this is the case the light meter is merely a function to convert lumen to V
