How do I put a PCB to a 18650?

Anyone done it yet? any tutorials for it? a Pic maybe?

I want to install a protection PCB on a LG 18650 2600mah battery. But don't want to mess up. Is it easy to do?

There's no way in hell I would even think about trying to do that myself. There is a thread somewhere showing some num-nuts who removed a protection circuit from his Li-Ion cell, which shows images of the PCB components.

You mean making a non-protected into a protected cell? Or just soldier a 18650 to a protection circuit?

Attaching a small protection circuit like those in protected cells is bloody hard.

Probably easier to buy a Protected 18650 - the work is already done for you!
