How Do They Do It???

The Fenix LD20 & L2DCE have the same led - 7090 XR-E.

Yet the LD20 gets either more burn time off the same lumens (9 lumens = 71 hours vs 55) or more lumens for more time (47 lumens = 13 hours vs 40 lumens = 10.5 hours). Info is from 4Sevens site.

Are they defining it differently?

If not, how do they get more light or time with the same led???
