How hot should PILA cells get in PILA charger?

I've been charging Pila 600P's (18650's) in my Pila chargers (I think the latest model, but not 100% sure) for three hours and the charging lights are still red, and the batteries are rather hot. I don't seem to recall it taking this long before, or the batteries getting so hot. Of course there are levels of "hotness" but these are quite easy to touch and hold, but decidedly hot and not warm.

Does this seem normal, or should I be concerned?

UPDATE:

I put the Pilas back to charge for another half-hour. Even though the charger lights were still red the batteries tested at 4.14v on DVM and fully charged on my ZTS. Hard to believe both Pila chargers would be malfunctioning at the same time

Hi!
Never charged any Pila-Cells. But all of the three Ultrafire 18650ers from DX just get barely noticeable warmer at the end of the charge in my Pila IBC Charger.

Cells getting hot is no good sign... I would stop using these cells [EDIT: or the charger] and contact Pila.

Mine don't get hot either. Something is going on. Be careful and watch carefully. Check voltages with DMM to see where you are.
