how many lux is ?

38,000 lux at 5 feet ??
how do i figure out at 1 meter ??
i have a multimeter that has a lux setting that only goes to 38,000 or so.......

Way off, the Stanley is somewhere over 125,000 lux; getting lux readings for HIDs is usually done through a lot of estimation and extrapolation, ask Selfbuilt about it.

You need to take the reading from much further away. If you start with 10 meters you can multiply the reading that you get by 100 to get the reading for 1 meter.
