How many of you run your Fenix P2D with Lithium Primaries on Turbo mode?

I have read about people having issues (venting) with 3 volts lithium primaries when running Fenix P2D in turbo mode.

After import taxes in my country I paid more than $ 100 for my P2D/L1D (power pack) and I don't want to burn it.

I woud like to hear about CPF members experiences with this kind of batteries. I bought some cheap Tenergy photo 1300mAh primaries. If some one had experiences with these tenergy lituium primary batteries I would be very pleasant to hear about it.

In my Fenix P2D I always use primaries. My choice is Surefire brand. I have however to say that this flashlight is usually run at medium level and personally I don't see the purpose of using it at turbo level for a long time. If you walk around in the dark you are mostly intersted in what happens in front of your feet and not 100 metres afar. Should you see something that interests you in the distance you can have a short burst of turbo light but then you come back to a more useful level.

So to answer your question I don't know if anything wrong happens after one hour at turbo level but I believe the light is pretty safe and I know that several members here have tested theirs for long periods of time.

my P2D Q5 is always set to turbo, for low, mid, high modes I use my L1D R100.

however, due to the cost of CR123 primaries, I use only either 3.7V or 3.0V rechargeables, whatever is at hand. beside the fact, that I lose the low modes with 3.7V cells (don't bother me, because the light is used only for turbo anyway) I never had the slightest issue with either of them.
