How much taller is the E1L than the E1e?

I love my little E1e, the perfect pocket-sized carry light, i especially love the beam produced by a reflector

that said, i have a question about the KL1 head, how much length does it *really* add to the light, compared to the stock incan head

could someone take a quick pic of the E1e and E1L standing side-by-side, for a height comparison (or feel free to link to a post that's already covered this angle....)

I don't have either but according to the Surefire site the E1L is .70" longer than the E1E. For comparison the tailcap on the executive series not measuring the ruber part is .87".

I just measured my lights and the difference in length between the two heads is .5".

I tried a KL4 head on my E1e and did not care for the added length.

The KL1 head adds a considerable about of extra length and bulk to the E1E. Personally I enjoy the KL1 because it more than doubles the runtime of the light, provides 10 more lumens, and takes away the anti roll bezel that dug holes in my pockets. One thing that I do miss is the perfect incandesent beam that the E1E produces (thats where my E2E excels, its awesome when you are shining through a stage hazed room!:rock.
