How rare is a SUREFIRE E2E BLACK?

got my new e2e of ebay a couple of weeks ago its not black or olive drab
more gunmetal, the tail cap seems to be packing up and can not find a tailcap the same color any sagestions would be great.....

That will be an E2e in Satin Gray (E2e-SG) previously the finish was known as Gun Metal (-GM)

SureFire used to offer an E-Series LockOut TailCap in SG/GM - it's called the Z53.

You could also give SureFire a call and see whether they can help you.
