How to disassemble Leatherman?

Hi,
i'd like to reconfigure my leatherman crunch..does anyone know how i can open it? I'd prefer to have the can opener of the wave on the crunch

I don't know if the can opener from the Wave will fit, but the screws on the older leatherman tools can be opened by grabbing the knurled heads on both sides of the tool with pliers. Try for a good match between the knurling on the screw heads and on the pliers jaws, it is easy to mar the screws. A bit of heat will help loosen the locktite if necessary, and when you are happy with your mod, put a bit of locktite on the screw to keep it at the right tension
