I got the new Madmax plus earlier this week. Of course I put one in each light, with batteries all from the same package (Duracells) and turned 'em on.
With my Mk1 mod1 eyeballs I could only see the tiniest bit of difference between 'old' and new.
So buddy got the old one, saw mine the same night, and didn't say anything.
Not to say my old one was not bright! It would still be my favorite light except the new MM+ is.
