I just recently received my new spiderfire ssc p7 light from dx and have modded the springs for increased current draw. It was working great until last night when i tried to change out the positive led contact with a thicker one. I unsoldered both the negative and positive contacts and then realized that i had to put them back on, so i did.

I put it back together and it doesn't work!!:shakehead
I tested the voltage across the positive and negative on the led and also the star board. Both are recieving a full 4.09 volts...

How is it that the led has 4.09 volts but produces no light??
I really could use some expertise on this one.

Thanks everyone,

Have you checked with a multimeter if current is drawn from the battery? Not that you are producing a short...
I would doublecheck the solder joints on the driver...
