I can\'t believe this!!!

I sold my arc ls on monday

and am trying to buy a new one on friday

. My question is this, do I want a low dome or a high dome. I want what everyone else wants Bright white light with a long beam.
Which one do the pro's suggest buying and where's the cheapest place to buy it.

The high dome's have a very white beam a further throw, and the whitest beam I have ever seen. The low domes still look somewhat more impressive but the high domes have a more typical flashlight beam, there are some pictures in some older threads on CPF

Get the LSH-P, a high dome premium. You'll wait a while since it uses only P or Q (rare) flux with 3 or 4 tint, no greenies. The hot spot is very bright and it out throws by a small margin, my 5W LS mod.

sounds like you want a hd, they will throw further.

we of course suggest arc ls hd premium, but they are somehtimes hard to get and i don't know if they are in stock. basically, premiums offer better tint, brighter, better cosmetics...and as a result, they are more expensive and hard to come by, and only available through www.arcflashlight.com
