Hi everyone:wave:
I have a draco by Modamag on order and, in anticipation of its arrival, I've been reading a lot of posts about the flashlight and the 10280's that power it. I ordered the light after becoming mesmerized by its beauty and reported performance. Now, having read about the characteristics of unprotected Li-ions such as the 10280, I'm scared that this battery is best used by someone who has more knowledge about things electronic than I. I'm so scared that I'm going to do something foolish and dangerous with this light that I almost don't want to use it.
I have to admit that I'm a total moron with regard to all things electronic. I've read some posts that I don't fully understand about undercharging and overcharging and how dangerous the recharging process can be. If I have to be extraordinarily careful with this battery and if I have to learn how to use a voltage meter, etc., I'll probably just get rid of the light. No need to burn down my house or injure on of my kids on account of my stupidity, you know?
Anyhow, if anyone can give me some tips on how to safely use this battery, I'd really appreciate it!
Dave
