This past Sunday I managed to drop my new Mini HID, and all the magic smoke leaked out. I remembered someone, somewhere, saying something about replacement bulbs so I did a CPF search. Wa-La, Brightguy carries a bulb that is supposed to work.
I placed an order for a replacement UK Light Canon bulb - that was Sunday evening. Monday I got notice that it had shipped, and Wednesday I recieved the lamp.
I fiddled with the old lamp a bit just to assure myself that it was really dead, then pulled the old one and plopped in the new one.
For anyone as careless and clumsy as me, the UK Light Cannon bulb is indeed a plug and play replacement for you Mini HID. I'm a very happy camper now that I have magic smoke again for one of my favorite lights.
