I like this little light

I got a Streamlight keymate from brightguy yesterday and man is this one tough litte light.To me it looks better than an arc or ultra. If it was only regulated. Have any of you mod guys tried to do anything with this light.Is there any way to make it better. Im gonna carry it around
for a few days to see how the batteries verses light output works out.

Yeah, they sure look neat. The only reason I've hesitated is I don't care for button batteries. Give us a report Trent on how it works out.

Trent...I got one last week and I really like it. It starts out considerably brighter than my Arc AAA, but that changes after about an hour and a half. I like the form factor of it better than the Arc AAA, but I wouldn't give up my AAA for anything because of the battery type and run time. That said, I think the SL Keymate at only $9.50 is one of the best "bang for the buck" lights in the keychain light category that you can get. On fresh batteries it's the brightest single LED light I own, and on Energizer silver oxide button cells it's even brighter! Silver oxide batteries are expensive ($1.98 each, retail), but they're higher mah than alkaline LR44 button cells, and they're 1.55V each vice 1.5V, so you should get longer "bright" run time with them. I really like the Keymate, and I'd recommend it to anyone!
