i'm a frenchie newbie, i read about 200 hours , pages and topics about flashlights.
they are so many choices
now i must decide to buy one
there is so many things to know, what i 've learned from the basic, is
led is better, lion is better than nimh,
then ; don't buy on chinese website, it's cheap, and costumer services is bad.
what i need from YOU , professionnal of lights is to choose the right good one for me
the size : i like eagletac t10lc2, i would like strobe , and 3 others mode from 50 or 100 lumens to 800 or 900. price doesn't matter
i need good quality, and silent power , i don't want to listen to click and click each time i must change mode
so if somebody can help me i will appreciate
phil

Eagletac M3C4 - SST-50 and 3xR5 XP-G - Reviews: BEAMSHOTS, RUNTIMES, and more!

If you read over 200 hours in this forum then you probably know more than us! :D

You wont get 800-900 lumens within the size of a T10C2, so M3C4 XPG gets my vote.

...lion is better than nimh....

better? only if it does what you need it to.

me? i prefer NiMH because they're safer, do not require special chargers, or hard to find batteries, or require custom lights, and the lights i use them in can use standard aklalines or lithiums if need be.

lesson? same with the lights themselves: there is no one "best" of anything. buy a couple that sound like they fit your needs, try them, read comparisons with other lights, and over time find models with the features/qualities you desire, then try those...

for us here at CPF it isn't about finding one light that will last us forever, its about the hunt of finding the next "perfect" light.
