I've had my Vector POB HID for about a year now and haven't used it that much. I just got back from a week at the outer banks and it worked great there, but now it doesn't turn on. The blue led on the side turns on, but the HID bulb doesn't do anything (I just can't believe that the bulb would have gone bad cause I really haven't used it that much). I'm not sure what's wrong. According to the status lights on the side it has a full charge, and I've tried recharging it just to be sure. Has anyone had this happen before? I guess I need to know if it's possible to get this fixed or am I going to have to buy a new one...

Thanks for any help and/or suggestions.
Stephen

It sounds like your POB might have a dead (and defective) battery. That happened to mine and I had to replace the battery in it. Did it flicker at all when it suddenly stopped working?
When you turn it on and then press the battery status indicator, how many lights display?

Nope, I didn't see any kind of flicker at all. It just seemed to not come on at all. Is it easy to replace the battery and if so where do I get one?

Edit: Hehe I missed your other comment about battery status lights. When I press the button all four lights come on.

Yes, replacing the battery is very easy. I am not sure if that is the problem with your POB though. It uses a 12V 7ah Sealed Lead Acid battery.

Hi

Mine had a darkened bulb and would not light. Made a brief ticking noise and tried to light but wouldn't- just replaced the bulb with a 4300ºK and it was fine.

Anyone know where I can order a 4300K bulb for it?

I got mine from this guy - YourHID - Just send him a message and he gives you a price for single H7-4300ºK bulb.

Good Luck - Great upgrade to a great lamp.

Cheers
Pete
