The Quad-Icarus is a whole punch of light! With its 1Amp Burst you ( me, hehe) have great Throw and spill. I think the distance shots show it.
I like this light a lot and it is fun to play around with it. Some nights ago i was stoped by two policemen who asked what i have in my backpack. I showed them and they saw the Icarus. When turning it on, one of them said: " Holy S***", the brightest flashlight he ever saw was a magcharger.:naughty:

Here are some infos Icarus mailed me:
"Given 17670 cells have a capacity of 1600mAh, calculated runtimes for this
particular light (Vf 1A = 14.4V) using the 1A drive table and taking into
account driver efficiency of 85%, are as follows:
Level 5 (1A) = 2 h 5 mins
Level 4 (500mA) = 4 h 10 mins
Level 3 (270mA) = 7 h 45 mins
Level 2 (130mA) = 16 h 7 mins
Level 1 (20mA) = 104 h 49 mins

According to my records lux reading at 1m was as follows (1A drive table):
570 - 2990 - 5640 -9160 - 14960 Lux.

Since the light is using P4 leds total lumens at the highest level (1A drive
table) is 4x (161.2 - 174.8) = 644.8 - 699.2 Lumens. This is of course
without taking into account any losses caused by the reflector, window"

I'm really satisfied and now seriousely addicted to multiple-Led lights.
