General observation: Both lights are made by CNC aluminum and anodized to HAIII. Very eye-catching design. Two output modes are practical. The Link uses a Cree XRE (unknown bin) with TIR. It reminds me to hook it to my backpack or the belt clip. The Solo has a traditional reflector with unknown emitter but looks efficient. Very little PWM effect on low mode. Both lights feel solid in hand.
Edit:
1. The Icon Solo uses a tiny Osram emitter that I'm not familiar with. If you have knowledge on it please post your reviews.
2. The first Solo I received is defective. On hight it lasts 18 seconds then shuts itself off circuit. The replacement that I received on Thursday is totaly OK. Kudos to Lighthound! Great service, Robert!
