If Maglite were to make a limited run of say a Maglite 2D in Stainless or titanium would you buy it, what is the most you'd pay. Other then a Flashaholic I dought the general public would care.
 
Yeah, 6D in stainless. There is another word for that..... a 20lb paperweight. :crackup:


I would however pay $40 for a stainless MiniMag

i could be persuaded to buy a 2D or 3D stainless though..make a helluva ROP...

I'd pay up to around $60-$80 for a 2D Mag in stainless, titanium, or HAIII. I wouldn't expect any other design changes, but some enhancements to reduce resistance would just be frosting on the cake.

I'm not holding my breath, but the idea isn't as silly as it sounds. Pimping out an old tired brand with a string of "limited editions" is exactly the sort of thing I'd expect Mag to do.

I dont no who the head dudes are at maglight but if they got with the times and started producing good flashlights like surefire and Fenix they would do great just on name recognition along give me one day in the board room and i will tell them whats up!:twak:im sure there doing great financially by selling 20 year old designed flashlights to the public but come on get with it its 2008 jeez.:shakehead
