well I learned hard way several times that buying cheap rechergeables won't pay off - in long term are expensive branded batteries cheaper....

To buy expensive one is also lottery
I have a lot Sony, Panasonic, Varta which are twice expensive than those IKEA, but less Wh, Ah and cycles
Another good cheap cells - Turnigy LSD from HobbyKing.

Couldn't resist picking up a pack just to test them. Here are my results after a break-in on C9K:

Pretty good if you ask me but of course, it remains to be determined how these will hold up long term. I'll try some runtime testing soon.

Break In finished on the AAA set I bought a couple days ago (date stamp 1-20-2011):

839/1.47
822/1.46
840/1.47
825/1.47

About to break in the AA's now. Seems like great bang for the buck though...if they last 2 cycles, they've more than paid for themselves compared to a set of standard alkalines ($14 out the door after tax, with 4 AA's and 4 AAA's).
