Ikea lamp hack

I am going to build this lamp http://www.instructables.com/id/Big-lamps-from-Ikea-lampan-lamps./
It is made by 32 ikea lamp connected.
I would use it as very soft atmosphere light

-I would like to use 1w led emitter can you suggest me one (better already on star)? I was thinking about this one http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=5378 or http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=4908
-How can I drive the 32 leds starting from 220v?
-Is there a way to make it dimmable?

you need a constant current supply for them. Something like this one. You can also add a PWM unit for dimming.

Regarding the leds. I have no idea about the ones you linked to, but cheap white emitters are often awfully bluish. Not the best if you go for a "very soft atmosphere light".
I would recommend using warm white leds, which are closer to incandescent lights in colour.
