I wife currently uses one of those cheap 3 LED, 3 AAA setups for night reading but I get her to use my white LED SF A2 whenever I can.

She's usually not too impressed with my flashlight collection and the above is the extent of her usage.

Anyway....we were shopping on the weekend when the 2 yr old did a "poo poo" so my wife went to the baby change room.

I got a call a minute later to meet her there. When I got there, she said "The light is not working. Can you please stand here to keep the door open while I change her?" (letting outside light in)

HELLO!!! Your hubby is a flashaholic!!! :naughty:

I said "That's not required. Let's close the door and see what I have in my bag"

Within 30 seconds, the room was lit up like the lights were on.

In my left hand was a Surefire M3 with LF EO-M3.
In my right hand was a Surefire C2 with Malkoff M60.
(best of both worlds)

She gave me the TINIEST of grins indicating "well done" and I was happy for the rest of the day. :D

I'll convert her yet!!!! ;)

Maybe if you could find a flashy light with some diamonds on it?
Seen a gold plated one on many auction sites....
Or how about a mod... it looks like lipstick but when you take off the cap and twist the bottom a light comes on?:twothumbs

Nope, that would look too expensive.

The aim is ALWAYS to make them look/sound as cheap as possible.

"Oh..this (SF M3) was only like $40"
"This light with the white label and the 4 leds in the head was 2nd hand so pretty cheap"

If she ever logs into the SF site, I might be in trouble. :ohgeez:

(I should probably remove it from "My favourites")

Well, as a last resort you could always forget to pay the power bill
But if she takes care of the bills like mine does then I am out of ideas.
I know it sucks when the other half refuses to be included in a favorite hobby! To be honest now that I think about it I have never personally met
another flashaholic. I guess we are too new of a breed.....

I'm fortunate (?) enough to have my better half support my habit. She usually likes the lights I get. In fact, she frequently steals my lights to use on duty (She's LE also). Nowadays, when I get the itch to purchase a new light to play with, I end up buying her one also. The first light I gave her was a SF 6Z. Now she carries an M3 (EO-M3) as her primary, the C2 (w/Malkoff M60)as her backup on her belt, (2) G2L's in her go-bag, a G2Z (M60) and 6PD (M60) somewhere, a E2D in her purse, a Nov 120T as her EDC, a G3 in another response bag, and an X300 on her duty gun. Now that I think about it, her support is costing me double .

I now want my M3 modded by Milky, but I can't tell her :sssh: or she'll want the same for hers.....

Buy it for each other for Xmas, sure it ruins the surprise but you both get what you want.

That is an impression collection your wife has there. If she walked around with all of them on, it would be like a blazing meteor going for a walk.

I don't think my wife would ever need that many.
