IMR26500 "C Mag" Boring Service

I can bore 3c size possibly 4c size hosts for proper fitment of AW's new IMR26500 cells.

Cost would be $10 each for 1 piece plus return shipping and $8 per additional body. If you want me to supply hosts I can pick up 2c size locally for $20.

Lux I'm not sure if the tailcaps can be bored, sometimes the wall thickness where the O-ring is thin. I can definetly check them out and let you know.

Any Idea if the FiveMega surefire C head/ C cell bodies can be opened up a little without cutting of the tailcap thread?

I can't get an Emoli 26700 in so I guess a new AW C cell isnt going to go in there either.

Extensions for the C size Mag cannot be bored (26500). You will cut off the threads.

Hey Chris... I too am interested in having my Fivemega two "C" cell body bored to take the new IMR 26500 cells... is this something that you can do? I know the tailcap is integrated into the body (of course the switch is removeable)... does that make a difference?

I wonder is some judicious internal sanding would be enough to allow the IMR's in. My IMR "C"s should arrive in the next day or so... it will be interesting to see how close the size is to the FM tube.

Rule #1 for Mac C colors: you can have any color you want as long as its black

For the last few years, Home Depot has carried unique additional colors of 2C, pewter & violet (aka purple). However, recent spot checks show the supply is drying up fast, perhaps for good.

There was a recent FS thread that had a FM11 listed and the seller stated that the IMR26500 cells did not fit.
