I just ordered an http://www.lighthound.com/AW-Mag-D-I...ht_p_2921.html from Lighthound. But I'm new to the world of incans; I have a Malkoff and Terralux drop-in and just received Mac's version too - so I'm good to go with LEDs!
I wanted to try an incan, hence the Lighthound. I'm looking for recommendations for a battery/bulb combo for maximum lumens - this is strictly for fun, and for seeing how far I can push a 4D Maglite (Or a 5/6D if those are sensible options).
Also, I can never seem to find a good metal reflector in stock anywhere. Borofloat glass is easy, though... any recommendations there?
I went this way because I don't have much experience in soldering or generally messing around with electricity, and this gives me a simple upgrade path.
