Indents on NiMh Rechargables?

I've been using Energizer rechargeables in my EagleTac P100A2 and I'm noticing small indents in the negative side of the batteries (depending upon which battery is contacting the spring). Is this going to be a problem? The batteries are fairly new, but the spring just seems to be putting a lot of pressure on the batteries. For now I'm just using alkalines, but I prefer free lumens if possible. I've tried duracell rechargeables as well, same thing seems to be happening. I could care less if there are small indents on the batteries, but is it gonna make something go :poof:?

It's not harmful, purely cosmetic.
