Inductor for ZLT+

Has anyone had any luck with a commercially available surface-mount inductor for the ZLT+ circuit? It works great, but I would like to shrink it a bit using a smaller inductor. I've built 8 of them, I found I could drop the output cap to 33uF without any problem. I've read stories about the inductor from 3 turns to 48 turns, just need a little help with this, would like to find a stock SMT inductor that doesn't blow the transistor.
