I'm looking for something I can put on my helmet so cars see me. I know of the planet Bike and other very small flashers, but they run on lithium coin cells, and I'd rather have something that uses standard AAA eneloops. I was hoping DealExtreme would have a <$10 little flashlight with a flash mode, but I only see AA ones, which would be getting a little large. I have a L2T-v2 for throwing light, but want something small and blinkey to make sure I'm seen while commuting every day. Any suggestions? I know that some of the $40+ lights have a strobe mode, but that is too much more expensive than the coin cell lights...

The Princeton Tec Aurora might fit the bill. It's readily available for < $20, has a lifetime warranty and is made in the USA.

I have a Trek brand Ion 3 that I leave mounted on my handlebars for my fair-weather commuter. Works fine as a "be seen" light, but definately not whizz-bang bright.

Thanks for the suggestions! I should have been more clear that I'm looking for a TINY little thing, like a Fenix E)! that blinks, and takes 1 AAA and not 3. But I don't think that exists...
