infered spot light?

How does it work? it says 55Watt 1 M CP M3 Haligon lamp and even looks like the one I got at walmart for $10 except the front and the extra light. Oh link

Hello LEDUser,

I believe it has a IR filter that blocks the visible light and passes the IR light. SureFire has these available for some of their lights also.

It looks like $75 is a pretty good price compared with the $149 price listed on their web site.
